What support is there if a journey stirs up something difficult?

Get in touch with us. The tutors are there for training support and guidance through the course discussion groups. If something is personal though, contact us directly.

Who can I talk to? #

Questions about journeys and the course teachings and practices are addressed in the Signal discussion group, where the tutors answer them, and where other students often find the answers helpful too. If something is of a personal nature though, contact us directly. Bear in mind that the college is not an emergency service, and we simply cannot offer that kind of support: if you are in crisis, contact your doctor or your local emergency services.

What if I feel overwhelmed? #

Stop journeying for the time being, and let us know. Pausing is often the wisest thing to do, and you can always come back to the course when you feel more settled. If you need more support than a course can give, working one to one with an experienced practitioner can help and is often what we advise. See How do I find a shamanic practitioner?

Can I have one-to-one mentoring? #

Not as part of the courses. The tutors answer questions in the discussion groups rather than one to one. For one-to-one work, see the practitioners we suggest.
