We keep all our courses as low-cost as we possibly can, permanently, instead of offering bursaries or concessions. We do offer the option of paying in interest-free instalments.
Why don’t you offer bursaries or scholarships? #
Because keeping every course low-cost works better for everyone. We have tried scholarships and sliding scales in the past, and kept running into problems with them. So instead our courses are priced low for all: compared fairly, for the quality and quantity of what you get, they are often half the price of genuinely comparable courses, or even cheaper. Keeping them affordable matters to us; it is part of our ethics and values.
Can I pay in instalments, and are there any discounts? #
Yes, you can spread the fees over a series of interest-free instalments, and we can set this up for you. If the instalments are not kept up, the account may have to be suspended, which means losing access to the course materials. For a limited time when each First-Steps course finishes, there is also a reduced bundle price for booking courses together.
Can I have a free place in exchange for helping the college? #
We don’t offer free places in exchange for work, as at the moment we have all our needs covered.
